Pedro Pathing Advisor.
As an advisor—one level below the project’s top role—I help guide the Quickstart and documentation that teams use to tune, localize, and build autonomous routines. My work includes beta testing and 12 merged contributions across the organization.
Why it matters
Autonomy that survives the field.
A path follower is only useful if teams can understand it, tune it, and trust it under competition pressure. Pedro combines path generation, localization, tuning, and a broader open-source ecosystem around FTC autonomous development.
My contributions
Not just using it.
Improving it.
My merged work spans production tuner fixes, auto-tuning, localization setup, reference pages, and documentation clarity — the unglamorous details that make powerful tools easier for teams to actually use.
Fixed the 3-wheel and 2-wheel tuners.
A direct Quickstart contribution focused on the tuning workflow teams depend on when translating pathing math into repeatable robot motion.
Open PR #100 ↗Quickstart
Make setup faster.
Four merged changes touching tuners and configuration — the part teams feel immediately when the robot hits the field.
Documentation
Make power understandable.
Eight merged documentation changes across localization, coordinates, tuners, Bézier curves, constraints, and setup clarity.
